BREAKING: 13-year old Filipino Breaks Usain Bolt’s 100m World Record

Jimbo Bernardo , a 13-year old student of Ateneo Junior High School, Manila in the Philippines has broken Usain Bolt’s 100m World record of 9:58 seconds set in 2009 at Berlin.

In was in the news recently that a Kenyan had performed better with 9:17 seconds but Bernardo completed in 9:15 seconds.

With a world record of 9:15 seconds, Bernado has been tipped to overtake the Jamaican sprinter in subsequent events as his [Usain Bolt] best time ever does not come closer to Bernardo’s.

This was recorded in the Country’s inter-regional athletic games.

The President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte has tasked the country’s Olympic Committee to provide the necessary training for the young sprinter.
